Beta Terms of Service

Last Updated: August 22, 2026

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is a Beta software application. It is provided "AS-IS" for evaluation and testing purposes. It is not intended for mission-critical, high-risk, or life-safety operations.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TokenPager ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TokenPager.

2. Description of Service

TokenPager is a digital customer pager platform that enables businesses to notify guests efficiently. The Service includes:

  • Real-time administration pager dashboard.
  • QR code-based customer connection pages.
  • Web push notifications for pager alerts.
  • Customer-facing pager status screens.
  • Basic business logo and workspace customisation.

Note: Active workspaces are completely free to create and use during the beta testing phase.

3. User Accounts & Registration

Business Users (Workspace Administrators):

To create a workspace, you must authenticate using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email inbox and all activities performed under your workspace.

Customers (Guests):

Guests joining a pager queue do not need to create accounts, input passwords, or provide phone numbers. They only input their assigned token number and optionally grant notification permissions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree strictly NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
  • Use the Service for medical dispatch, emergency fire alerts, or life-safety operations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our database, servers, or user accounts.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or script injections.
  • Input sensitive customer personal data (like card details, passwords, or health history) into pager labels.
  • Scrape or bulk harvest data from our application interfaces.

5. Service Availability & Maintenance

While we strive to maintain high availability, we offer no uptime guarantees or service level agreements (SLAs). The Service is provided in a beta status, and it may experience unplanned downtime, notifications delivery delays, or database resets. We reserve the right to modify or suspend the Service at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its designs, logo, layout, and source code, is owned by TokenPager. You retain full ownership of any content you upload (such as your business name, pager messages), granting us a limited license to display it solely to operate your pager workspace.

7. Third-Party Integrations

By using our platform, you also agree to the operational policies of our primary infrastructure and telemetry partners:

  • Supabase: Handles cloud database storage and authentication. Terms of Service
  • PostHog & Sentry: Analyze anonymized exception reporting, debugging logs, and product analytics. PostHog Terms | Sentry Terms
  • DigitalOcean: Provides cloud virtual machine hosting and network routing. Terms of Service

8. Limitation of Liability

TokenPager and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost customer goodwill, cold food orders, or missed queue alerts) arising from your use of this beta platform. Our total liability is capped at $0.00.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
